This week, the Chamber is spotlighting Donalsonville Hospital!
For more than 100 years Donalsonville Hospital and those who worked inside have been bringing much-needed healthcare to the community. The uniquely beautiful exterior of the 65-bed non-profit hospital is workplace to close to 400 employees who strive to improve the quality of patient care and access to healthcare for our rural community.
Hospital services include: General Surgery, Juvenile & Senior Behavioral Health Unit, Labor & Delivery, 24 Hour Emergency Room, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Therapy, Radiology, Laboratory, and Seminole Manor Nursing Home.
For the last two years, Donalsonville Hospital has been named #3 top medium sized hospital in Georgia, by Georgia Trend Magazine. The honor includes clinical process, patient experience, outcome and efficiency and compared Donalsonville Hospital with similar sized facilities throughout the state.
According to Hospital Administrator, Chuck Orrick, “This top ranking is a testament to the hard work and patient centered care our physicians, nurses and staff provide our community. We are constantly striving to provide the healthcare services, technology and access to care that our patients need and deserve. We are proud to be a leader in community healthcare.”
