Meet the Chamber Board: Bianca Bright
Bianca is a native of Abbeville, AL. She is a graduate of Abbeville High School Class of 2007. She went on to earn a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Alabama State University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Connecticut. While attending Alabama State University, Bianca became a member of Alpha Kappa Psi Business Fraternity, Inc.
Since 2021, Bianca has served as the School System Social Worker for Seminole County Schools but has been a dedicated School Social Worker since 2014. Bianca is a member of the state organization School Social Workers Association of Georgia and plays an active role in District 2 serving as Vice President this year. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling to new places discovering unique destinations.
Bianca has only been on the Chamber Board for almost a year, but as a new board member, she has already had the opportunity to be a part of the Chamber’s Annual Banquet, Business After Hours gatherings, many ribbon cutting events, Miss Seminole County Pageant, and is looking forward to assisting with the Harvest Festival this year and all other events the chamber offers.
Bianca feels that being a part of the Donalsonville Chamber of Commerce Board will help demonstrate her investment in civic life and in the growth of Donalsonville and Seminole County. By bringing her perspective from the social work and education sectors, she hopes to help ensure that the Chamber’s initiatives foster both economic development and well-being of children and families. We appreciate her dedication already, and are excited to work with her for the next three years!
