Good Afternoon, Members!

IT’S OFFICIALLY RODEO MONTH!!!

The Donalsonville – Seminole County Chamber of Commerce is proud to present our biggest event of the year, the 10th Annual 2026 Boots and Roots Rodeo, an IPRA (International Pro Rodeo Association) rodeo, April 24-25, 2026 at Seminole Industrial Park, 2841 Ash Crossing Road. We had a record breaking turnout for our most recent rodeo back in April 2025, with our largest number for ticket sales yet from Seminole & the surrounding counties, and we hope to continue to be able to put on such a fun, family friendly community event!

Once again, we are contracting with T-T Rodeo Company, owned by Justin Thigpen. Justin Thigpen is one of the most decorated cowboys in IPRA history. He has 22 IFR qualifications to his credit. Justin has added more world titles to his resume in steer wrestling and the tie-down roping bringing the total to 8 steer wrestling world titles, 1 team roping, and 11 tie-down world titles and 6 all-around cowboy titles, and is the current All Around leader. The Boots & Roots Rodeo features events such as Calf Roping, Steer Wrestling. Saddle Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing. Team Roping, Bull Riding, Bareback Riding, Calf Scramble, Cowgirl Breakaway Roping, Diamond Dash, and Clowns.

We will also have food vendors, western themed vendors, children’s activities, a rodeo themed photo booth and more! Don’t forget to purchase your tickets in advance and get discounted pricing! Advance Price: $12 ages 13+ – $8 ages 6-12, Gate Price: $15 ages 13+ – $10 ages 6-12, Ages 5 and under get in free! Tickets are available for purchase at the Chamber, Donalsonville News, First Port City Bank, Georgia Community Bank, and PeoplesSouth Bank.

Events like the rodeo bring visitors into our community and provide our citizens a time to celebrate and be entertained in their hometown and county. The Boots & Roots Rodeo benefits our local youth, and the local Chamber of Commerce, and is a great family friendly event for all ages to enjoy!
