2025 Monthly Chamber Newsletter: June Edition

June 3, 2025

Good Afternoon, Members!

May is gone, and summer is here! First and foremost I would like to thank everyone who participated in any of our May events. It was a record breaking month for ribbon cuttings, as we had 4 ribbon cuttings in May alone, including Firehouse Subs, Mcfadden Nature Center, 4 G Farms & Co. and Othell’s. We also hosted our quarterly after hours event in May, with the Miss Seminole County Beauty Queens.
While we do not have many Chamber events coming up in June, there is still plenty for the community to participate in, starting with the Farmers Market at Alf’s Farm & Garden, this Saturday, June 7th from 10am-2pm. Also, do not miss an opportunity to take your child to visit the Seminole Co. Literacy Bus, which will be making stops throughout town during the month of June!

The Chamber’s next big event we are now planning for, will be the 2025 Donalsonville/Seminole County Harvest Festival, set for October 18th, 2025. We can’t wait for the event this year, which will include local entertainment, arts & crafts vendors, an art show, children’s activities, a recipe contest, and more! We are excited to bring something new to festival week this year, the 2025 Farm Tour. We are partnering with the Seminole Co. Extension office, Seminole Co. Young Farmers, and Seminole Co. FFA with this year’s farm tour, which will now be held the day before the festival, on October 17th, 2025. We have more planned for the Harvest Festival, so stay tuned!

As always, if you have any questions regarding the Chamber or any Chamber events, feel free to reach out!

Thank you!
