Good Afternoon!
We have finally reached the end of an extremely busy year here at the Chamber! We would like to thank our Board, committees, sponsors, members, and everyone else in the community who has supported us throughout the year. We have been blessed to have a great year and it is because of all of you! I also would like to welcome our newest Chamber member, ABA Essentials. We are so excited to have them join the Chamber!
Don’t forget to come downtown tomorrow, December 9th, for the recently rescheduled Spirit of Christmas Parade at 6 pm. We are anticipating perfect weather this time! The Chamber will be hosting Santa for pictures before the parade from 4 pm – 5:30 pm in front of the old historic police station that is located at the corner of Woolfork Ave and East 2nd Street. Immediately following the parade will be the annual Tree of Hope lighting by the Seminole County Warpath on Cancer. Come out and enjoy the Christmas fun and beautifully decorated downtown tomorrow night!
We are hard also at work behind the scenes working on several upcoming events for Winter & Spring of 2026, such as the annual Chamber Banquet (Feb. 5th) at the Osceola catered by Gay’s Seafood, Farmers Appreciation Luncheon (March 5th) at the Lions Hall sponsored by Southwest Georgia Farm Credit, and most importantly the 10th Annual Boots & Roots Rodeo (April 24-25) at Industrial Park East. Stay tuned for more details on all of these events!
I want to once again thank you all for your support this year, and I hope that each and every one of our members has a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year!
