Annual Harvest Festival set for October 18th

September 25, 2025

🍂 It’s officially Fall, so that means the Chamber is all about Harvest Festival!! 🍂

The Chamber has been working very hard for the last few months to plan a fun event for the community to enjoy! The festival is on October 18th, 2025 in Downtown Donalsonville. The event will begin as usual with the Rejoice Run & Mom’s Mile at 8 am, followed by the parade at 11 am, and immediately following the parade will be the National Anthem, Pledge of Allegiance, a performance by Persnickety Studios, and then our featured performer, Seminole County native Bailey Dixon and the Burden of Proof.

This year’s event will have a new look! Wiley Avenue (between First and Second Streets) will feature a wide variety of children’s activities and games. West Second Street will be lined with arts & crafts vendors, offering unique handmade goods and local artistry. Food vendors will be conveniently located in the parking lot between the Post Office and Three Notch, making it easy to grab a bite and stay close to the action. And yes — live entertainment at the gazebo in City Park is making a comeback! The park will once again be a central gathering spot full of music and community spirit! ***Also, don’t forget to check out all the local downtown businesses who will be open during the Harvest Festival as well!

Don’t forget to sign up for the 2025 Harvest Festival parade! The theme for this year’s parade is Community Roots: Celebrating 100+ years of Seminole County and Agriculture! We want to encourage float participants to highlight the agricultural heritage of the community, local traditions, or the importance of locally grown food, while also featuring tractors, hay bales, farming tools, and depictions of old timey farm activities like milking cows or churning butter. Entries will be judged, with ribbons and an overall grand prize awarded, so be as creative as possible!

We are also still accepting vendors, so reach out to the Chamber if you are interested in participating! What we are looking for: Independent Consultants (Scentsy, Paparazzi, etc.) boutique clothing, jewelry, handmade soaps, cotton candy, children’s games & activities, unique arts & crafts, any Info booths, nonprofits, etc. For a vendor app, reach out to the Chamber at [email protected].

Harvest Festival T-shirts featuring the Spooner Oak, a Seminole County landmark, are available for purchase for $15. We will have plenty of Arts & Crafts vendors, as well as a variety of children’s activities and games, and lots of good food for everyone to enjoy!

A pre-Harvest Festival tradition happening on October 16th is the recipe contest sponsored by Mims Farms, Seminole Co. Young Farmers, & UGA Extension office. The recipe contest will be held at the UGA Extension office. Rules and entry forms can be picked up at the Chamber!

We hope to see you on October 18th at the Harvest Festival!
