Good Morning, Members!
Can you believe the year is halfway over already? Time flies when you are having fun, which we have been here at the Chamber! The first half of the year has been a busy one. We have hosted many events already, including the annual banquet, farmers appreciation luncheon, 2 quarterly business after hours events, the Miss Seminole pageant was revived, and of course we put on the biggest rodeo yet back in April! We have also welcomed several new local businesses/Chamber members, and hosted 5 ribbon cuttings within a month’s time! We are thankful to have been a part of so much thus far, and appreciate the community’s support.
The Chamber’s next big event we are now planning for is the 2025 Donalsonville/Seminole County Harvest Festival, set for October 18th, 2025. We can’t wait for the event this year, which will include the Rejoice Run, annual parade, local entertainment, arts & crafts vendors, an art show, farm tour on Oct. 17th, children’s activities, a recipe contest on Oct. 16th, and more! We have a fun new contest we are adding to the festival that will be launched mid-July, so stay tuned for an announcement on that! We are excited to announce that this year’s featured entertainer is Seminole County Native, Bailey Dixon & the Burden of Proof. Bailey has already won many awards, and is a member of the Georgia Country Music Hall of Fame. We are excited to have her, so make plans to come out and support our hometown girl on the third Saturday in October!
