2025 Monthly Chamber Newsletter: August Edition

August 7, 2025

Good Afternoon!

Summer break is officially over and school is back in session, which means things are about to start picking up again here at the Chamber! We have recently met with potential ambassadors for our new ambassador program, who will be spotlighted soon! We also have been hard at work behind the scenes getting ready for our busy fall season, which includes several events including our quarterly Business After Hours (date/host TBA) and of course one of our biggest events, the Donalsonville/Seminole County Harvest Festival!

We began planning for the Harvest Festival back in June, and we are excited to show you all what’s in store for the third Saturday in October! The event will feature our usual arts & crafts, food vendors, parade, Rejoice Run, and more, but there have been some new additions as well, including the Farm Tour that will now be on Oct. 17th, a photo contest that will determine the design of this year’s t-shirt, and more details that will be shared soon!

There are also many community events still going on, with a Blood Drive at Five Star Credit Union on August 22nd, the first Seminole County Indians home football game is August 22nd, several monthly events will be held at the Senior Center and Library, and the next Alf’s Farm & Garden Farmer’s Market is September 6th. There is a lot going on in our community, and we are super excited about it!

As always, if you have any questions regarding the Chamber or any Chamber events, or would like to volunteer in any way, feel free to reach out!
