2025 Monthly Chamber Newsletter: November Edition

October 29, 2025

First and foremost I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone who came out to the 2025 Harvest Festival on October 18th. We had a huge turnout for the event, and have heard many positive comments from the community about the layout change for this year’s event. I’d also like to personally thank my many sponsors and volunteers for the event: the Chamber Board and Ambassadors, City of Donalsonville, Public Works, Dept., Donalsonville Police Dept., and any other volunteers who helped make this event go as smoothly as possible!

October was super busy with the Harvest Festival, but also this past month we have had two ribbon cuttings, one for new business Vital Nutrition and the other at Tahoma Plantation for their unveiling of the new event space addition! We are so excited for both of these Chamber members.

We are still in the midst of a busy fall season even though the festival is now over. We will begin opening up submissions for Request for Proposals this month for the Historic Olive Theater repairs thanks to the Historic Preservation Grant from DCA that was announced in October. Also we are already planning for the 2026 Annual Chamber Banquet, date TBA. The annual Veterans Day Parade is set for November 11th at 10 am. Lineup will begin at the corner of E. Second Street, and immediately after the parade will be a Veterans Day Ceremony at the Courthouse.

There are also many other community events going on in November that are featured in this newsletter. As always, if you have any questions or concerns regarding the Chamber, feel free to reach out!
