🌟 Meet the Chamber Board: Andrew Sheffield 🌟Andrew Sheffield serves as Georgia Power’s Area Manager for Clay, Decatur, Early, Grady, Miller, Mitchell, Seminole, and Thomas counties, as well as parts of Baker and Calhoun counties. Andrew’s primary focus is community outreach and education, and they take pride in being a positive voice for Georgia Power throughout Southwest Georgia. He regularly speaks to community groups about energy conservation and share information about Georgia Power programs that support low- to middle-income families.Passionate about education, Andrew works closely with local schools to promote electrical education and supports Georgia Youth Science & Technology Centers (GYSTC) electives. His career in the energy industry began at Three Notch EMC, where he worked as a lineman and trouble-man. Andrew later joined Georgia Power, serving first as a trouble-man, then as the trouble supervisor for the entire South Region, before stepping into his current role.Andrew is honored to serve on several community boards, including the Salvation Army, United Way, the Miller, Early, and Seminole Chambers of Commerce, the GYSTC Board, Oak House, and Rotary. A graduate of Valdosta State University, Andrew remains committed to making a positive impact in the communities he serves. Andrew has been a member of the Donalsonville/Seminole County Chamber of Commerce for just over a year but has already proved himself as a community champion!
