General Surgeon, Dr. Josh Walker of Wiregrass Medical & Surgical Group, has been named to the "Georgia Board of Health Care Workforce" Board representing Seminole County. We are super excited to bring back the 2021 Donals

We are super excited to bring back the 2021 Donalsonville/Seminole County Harvest Festival on October 16th, 2021 in Downtown Donalsonville!

Events will begin with the Rejoice Run & Mom's Mile, followed by the Annual Parade at 10:30 am. Feel free to dress your pet in a Halloween Costume and sign up for the parade! Local entertainment will begin shortly after the parade, leading up to our main performer Eli Mosley!

Festival attractions include a Recipe Contest sponsored by Mims Farms, Art Show, Arts and Crafts vendors, Food vendors, featuring, BBQ, Gator, Pizza, Hot Dogs, Funnel Cakes and much more!
Children’s Entertainment including bounce houses, train, rock wall, face painting and more!

We are still accepting a few vendors, so call the Chamber if you are interested!

This week the Chamber Spotlight features GreenPoint Ag. Farming has experienced significant change in recent decades, and GreenPoint Ag is a reflection of that change. In 2020, they were formed when the agronomy operations of Agri-AFC, GreenPoint Ag and Tennessee Farmers Cooperative’s wholesale agronomy business were combined.

While they are a new company, roots are deep and date to the 1930s. Over those years they’ve gone through acquisitions and name changes, and have done what’s necessary to best serve members and customers.

While the company is new, the business and members are not. GreenPoint Ag is owned by three cooperatives, Alabama Farmers Cooperative, Tennessee Farmers Cooperative and Winfield United, all of which have a rich legacy of serving farmers and rural communities.

Through all the changes, their business strength has consistently been their people and the relationships they have with customers. The Donalsonville/Seminole County Chamber of Commerce invites you to participate in our annual Harvest Festival parade. The festival is on October 16th, 2021 and the parade will begin at 10:30 am.

We hope to bring back a great family event, especially after having to cancel the last few due to hurricanes and Covid-19. If you are interested, call the Chamber at 524-2588 and we will get the proper forms to you!

This week the Chamber of Commerce “Spotlights” Amanda Palmer State Farm Insurance.

Calling all vendors!! We are still accepting vendors at this time (arts & crafts and food) for the Harvest Festival on October 16th, so call the Chamber at 524-2588 to have an application sent to you.

The following vendors we currently have are: *Scentsy, *Paparazzi, *K2 Handcrafts glitter tumblers, pens, crafts and more!, *Princess House, custom jewelry, kids toys, honey products, and more!

Note: The vendors with a * indicate that that particular type of vendor is full, as we can't accept more than one of some of the same thing! We want our vendors to succeed!

*We are monitoring COVID-19 cases in the area, and the event is subject to change.

The festival starts with the Rejoice Run & Mom's Mile, followed by the parade and local entertainment, and we will have performer Eli Moseley as our main entertainment. We will have our usual arts & crafts vendors, recipe contest, art show, food vendors, kids entertainment and more!

This week the Chamber spotlights First Port City Bank. First Port City Bank was founded in 1974 by a group of local business people who believed that the owners of a financial institution should be made up of friends and neighbors within the community. Their roots run deep, and they are grateful for the tremendous support received. While many things have changed over 47 years, operating as a true community bank is one thing that has remained constant.
